Renowned for it's onsen since the Edo period, the village also played a significant role in the history of skiing in Japan. The village is located at the foot of Kenashi-yama with an altitude of 1650 meters surrounded by beautiful scenery.
What makes Nozawa Onsen a unique Ski town to visit is its famous public hot baths and mountain shrines nestled in-between beautiful forests.

Frozen Lake Tour
A great round trip tour starting and finishing at the bottom of Nozawa Onsen. We head deep into the woods where we have chance to spot the local ‘Kamoshika’ before making our way to a beautiful frozen lake.

Forest Adventure Tour
Step back to Nature and really feel the tranquility of Nozawa Onsen. We will head into the forest at the bottom of the mountain, visiting Shrines and drinking the fresh spring water that runs through the village.
